Information Technology & Cyber Security
- FESS operates a Global Computing Environment with data networks in Taiwan and the United States. FESS Operates in the Microsoft Government Community Cloud (GCC) Environment. The GCC Environment integrates robust security and compliance tools tailored for Government agencies, assuring data protection and optimized workflows that align with Federal regulations.
- All components are configured, managed and monitored by U.S. citizens. I.T. infrastructure, including endpoints, are managed from a U.S. based Network Operations Center utilizing 365/24/7 proactive security tools to ensure that all devices and software are current with bug fixes, patches and security updates, including managed antivirus.
- Email breach-resistance is hardened by utilizing advanced email security features with Threat Protection tools and Cloud App Security (CAS). These tools are designed to thwart spoofing, phishing, rogue logins and other email hack avenues”.
- FESS networking runs over enterprise-class switches connected to (NGFW) Next Generation Firewalls running the latest Intrusion Prevention Services (IPS).
- All FESS Communications between the data center and all remote offices (including Taiwan) are secured by AES 256 bit encrypted site to site VPN’s. FESS’ Taiwan Branch offices have been commercially secured by TDY deployed, U.S. based, U.S. citizen I.T. personnel.
- Server data is backed up remotely via a leading cloud backup provider. The backup data is encrypted at rest and during transmission.
- FESS employs the latest Microsoft GCC security products for active vulnerability management, asset discovery and management, and continuous monitoring to actively scan the internal network and external points for threat vulnerabilities and proactively eliminates them.
- Laptop hard drives are secured with whole disk encryption.
- FESS employees are continuously trained on email security/email susceptibility via phishing testing, and annual training modules on numerous Cyber Security threats. FESS employees receive annual ITAR/CUI training.
- FESS IT cyber security meets or exceeds the standards set forth in DFAR 252.204-7012 as well as NIST SP 800-171.
Administration, Consulting, Translation & Concierge
- Oral and written translation and interpreter support of in-country program meetings
- Lease car(s) and Driver-Coordinator(s) capable of supporting daily In-Country needs of the In-Country Program Manager, Program Management office and PM visits.
- Security services – home, office, individual
- Housing and living assistance (utilities, dependent care and schooling, etc.) for SAMD personnel.
- Monitoring and reporting on Taiwan political and budgetary matters that may impact USG foreign military sales
- Logistical, administrative and translation/interpreter support of conferences/PMRs, in Taiwan, U.S., or other world-wide locations.

- Lease, renovation, outfitting, and maintenance of an In-Country Program Management Office.
